Functional local browser storage
Local browser storage remains in the browser on the device on which you play. Nice Puzzles uses this to remember your language, preferences, daily puzzle metadata, open puzzles, completed puzzles, favourites and room settings. When you use account synchronisation, selected puzzle data can also be linked to your account.

No active visitor analytics or ad tracking
According to the technical inventory of the current release, Nice Puzzles does not use Vercel Web Analytics, Speed Insights, advertising pixels or comparable visitor scripts. The hosting does process technical request and security logs to deliver and protect the site; those logs are not stored on your device. This assessment must be repeated before any release adds optional analytics technology or tracking.
Clearing data on this device
You can clear local Nice Puzzles data via your account screen or your browser settings. Afterward, local progress, daily puzzle metadata and preferences on that device are removed, among other things. Clearing browser data does not automatically delete data already linked to an account. Logging out ends your session, but does not automatically clear all local puzzle data.
If the technology changes
Before Nice Puzzles introduces optional analytics, advertisements or other tracking technologies, we assess the purpose, data, vendor, retention period and legal basis. If consent is required, optional categories are disabled by default, options to accept and refuse are presented equally clearly, and you can withdraw your choice just as easily. We will then update this page.
